Clothing Review: Bamboo Tee and Bamboo Skirt, Cariloha Clothing Review
Cariloha carries a range of bamboo clothing and accessories including dresses, tops, handbags shorts and more for men, women and children. They also have bedding, home and bath items made using bamboo! I picked out two beautiful pieces from Cariloha, a white bamboo skirt and a white bamboo scoop tee.
The first thing I noticed about the Cariloha clothing is that it was made from a thick fabric but it also felt oddly cold to the touch. I thought it was so cool because it’s coming up on Summer and anything that can help to cool me down is great! I’m also one of those people that gets hots very easily so I cling to any clothing that keeps me cool.
The fabric of the skirt is thick, kind of heavy and just overall good quality. I was very impressed because it seems like it can stand up to a lot of wear. I have some thin skirts that easily tear and it’s such a pain because with just a little tug or scrape, the skirt is ruined.
The skirt has a nice shape and subtle details with the drawstring as the waist and a lace bottom hem. I really love the top of the skirt because it is very stretchy and features a tie so that you can tighten/tie it and wear it high-waisted, or let the string go and wear it at your hips. This is also great if you’re not sure about sizing because there seems to be a lot of flexibility with size here.
