Irene L. first discovered Cariloha a few years ago in Ketchikan while on a cruise to Alaska’s Inner Passage. Since that one fateful cruise, Irene has been one of Cariloha’s most die-hard fans.
All those years ago, Irene took advantage of Cariloha’s free drop-shipping program, which allowed her to ship her California King Bamboo Sheet Set free to her home, rather than having to carry her sheet set home in her luggage. When she returned home from her vacation, to her surprise she found a King Sheet Set, not the Cal-King Set. Cariloha had accidentally sent the wrong set. She quickly called Cariloha HQ to inform us of the error, and that’s where our long-time friendship was born.
Because we were able to take care of her issue and some other needs that she had in such a quick, professional manner (her words), she continued to stay in touch with Cariloha’s Customer Service Team and to visit Cariloha stores on a regular basis over the next few years.
The time had come to meet up, face to face.
This past week, Irene made that happen. She was vacationing in Southern Utah, and she convinced her husband to drive 4 hours north to Cariloha HQ so that she could see us in person.
Both her and her husband were wearing their bamboo socks and said they’d only worn Cariloha socks during their entire trip and had worn Cariloha shirts hiking the day before. They met several of our Cariloha staff members and were able to see some of the new bamboo products that we’re working on. They just raved about how much they LOVE our bamboo sheets. We can’t blame them for that, of course. They absolutely love the sage color and have bought a set for almost everyone in their extended family.
They took pictures in our Cariloha conference rooms and thought the sign in the reception area looked so professional, so they took pictures out there as well. They even drove out to Cariloha’s Distribution Center, near the Salt Lake International Airport, to do some shopping at the small outlet store there.
We had so much fun meeting long-time fan, Irene L. We’re so glad that we could serve her and be a part of her vacation memories and bamboo-soft luxury lifestyle. Thanks Irene!
