It’s 2016 and taking care of our planet has never been more in style. Millions of pinners around the world are taking part in the eco-friendly movement by sharing their favorite articles on Pinterest about going green, and these articles are receiving a lot of attention.
Since Cariloha is passionate about providing clean and green products to its customers, we wanted to find out what kinds of environmental posts are being pinned the most. So we did our research.
We started by compiling a large list of popular articles. Then, we ran them through a tool called Social Footprint to determine which ones were being shared the most.
What we learned is that when you talk about being “green” on Pinterest, you aren’t necessarily talking about restricting things or refraining from using certain products. It’s not so much about reducing emissions as it is about increasing green living.
