Cariloha Friday! Arriba! Arriba! Arriba! It’s Cinco de Mayo weekend, tambien! Look in your local newspaper or local city search guides to see what Cinco-de-Mayo fiestas are going in your town this weekend. It’s also the brightest full moon of the year on Friday night, along side a meteor shower – just another reason to party until the sun comes up.
As you begin to test the weekend waters, be sure to get your Cariloha style groove on for a holiday-packed weekend.
Let’s get started. May the fourth be with you on Star Wars Day, Orange Juice Day and Cartoonists Day (tomorrow), then, bust out your pinatas, drink up your horchata, and scarf down some black or pinto beans for an amazing Cinco-de-Mayo fiesta – don’t forget to cheer on your favorite horse in the Kentucky Derby as well (tomorrow), next set out for a picnic with some big hoagies and fancy beverages in honor of these two national days (Sunday & Monday), finally blast your tuba loud and clear for everyone to hear (Sunday & Monday). Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
However you approach your weekend, make it a memorable time and don’t forget to wrap up in your Cariloha bamboo-soft clothing, sheets or towels every day.
