by Following tradition for most Thursdays here at Cariloha, we like to point out the holiday line-up for the coming weekend, beginning with Thursday – which is kind of the pre-party day to the rest of the weekend. At least we like to think of it as such.
Beginning today, and carrying through the weekend, there are ample opportunities to celebrate. Even if you’re not into wishing a happy birthday to the Jetson’s tomorrow or Bullwinkle on Saturday, you can at least usher in a warm, hopeful “First Day of Autumn” on Friday. Personally, I think I’m going to get an ice cream cone right now in honor of the ice cream cone’s birthday on this day in 1903. Happy Birthday, Cone! My taste buds and stomach thank you.
