Cariloha Friday! And the start of Super Bowl weekend! Wahoo! This weekend is filled with buckets of popcorn and gallons of guacamole. Stock up on buffalo wings, nachos, shrimp cocktails and more and let the good times begin. Even if football’s not your thing, this weekend’s party list has something to get everyone partying Cariloha style.
The list will take you from today through the morning of Tuesday (extra long weekend), celebrating everything from National Carrot Day and Elmo’s Birthday (today), Thank a Mailman Day and Gumby’s Birthday (tomorrow), Super Bowl Sunday and National Popcorn Day (Sunday), and National Frozen Yogurt Day, Babe Ruth’s Birthday, and Charles Dicken’s Birthday (Monday & Tuesday). Take a bite of that carrot today and don’t stop having fun until you fall fast asleep reading a classic Dicken’s novel on Tuesday.
It’s a weekend of Black-American history, Mardi Gras beads and Frozen Yogurt. Have fun and don’t forget to wrap up in your Cariloha bamboo-soft clothing, sheets or towels along the way.

I’m predicting a New England Patriots victory, giving Tom Brady his fourth Super Bowl ring – one for each finger. After all, my wife’s a native Bostonian – we gotta be true to our Pats, Sox, Celtics and Bruins – at least that’s what she says. For me, I’ve just always liked the Patriots. May the best team win!
