Cariloha Friday! and another lead-up weekend to Election Day on Tuesday, November 6. No matter what political party you’re affiliated with, always remember to cast your vote. There. That’s my little political plug for the year. Aside from voting, you’ll need to set your clocks back an hour, as daylight saving time ends on Sunday. Fall back in autumn and spring forward in spring. From my point of view, the holiday season is under way, and I love it. So much to do and see, which can seem overwhelming at times – so take each day in stride. Enjoy the simple things and don’t overbook yourself.
As you venture out this election weekend, be sure to get your Cariloha style on, letting it inspire your generous side to do something helpful for the Red Cross or Feeding America charities, who are working around the clock to rescue those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Share some deviled eggs on a lunch date and look for circles while your out (today), then, eat sandwiches for at least one meal and give a hug to your favorite housewife (tomorrow), next, remember to set your clocks back and enjoy a peanut butter-smothered sandwich, cracker or celery stick (Sunday), finally, get a box of donuts and really appreciate your electric shaver (Monday).
