Cariloha Friday! and a lead-up weekend to Halloween! Most fall festival and Halloween parties are happening this weekend through next Wednesday, so be sure to get your ghoul on. I love this time of year, especially this final week of October. I love it for the weather, the World Series, the harvest, the kick-off of the holiday season, the bite-size Snickers, the Jack-o-Lanterns, and it’s my birthday, which was always Halloween-themed growing up. Heck, it still kind of is pumpkins and witch’s brew even at my ripe old age.
As you venture out this Halloween weekend, be sure to get your Cariloha style on, letting it inspire your spooky side to do something frightfully fun with family and friends. Remember to go trick-or-treating or to host the trick-or-treaters. If you’re not interested in Halloween, there’s a a whole slew of other unusual holidays this weekend to keep you busy.
If you didn’t sleep in today, you should have, and maybe consider taking a ride on a mule at a local farm (today), then, wear your favorite boxer shorts, make a difference to your neighbor, and salute the navy (tomorrow), next, as much as you may or may not like to, give a big hug to your mother-in-law (Sunday), finally, be grateful for the internet and all its wholesome uses and wish me a happy birthday (Monday).
