Cariloha Friday! And Father’s Day weekend! It’s the big daddy of all holidays. And for me personally, Father’s Day continues to evolve and take on new meaning, as my children and wife now recognize me as the father of our home, which is very new and surreal to me since I don’t hardly feel old enough to be somebody’s father. All the same, I still recognize and celebrate my wonderful father, who has taught me and continues to teach me so very much – everything from self-control, integrity, gentleness, selflessness, charity, hard work, and the list goes on and on. Thanks Dad! You’re the best Dad in the whole wide world.
As you begin to test the weekend waters, be sure to get your Cariloha style on, letting it bring out the best in yourself and those around you. Be sure to let your father, or those many father figures in your life, know how much you appreciate and love them this weekend.
Let’s get started. Turn those lips upward and start smiling (today), then, chomp down some fresh veggies, juggle some tennis balls, and have a hollering match (tomorrow), next, give your dad a hug and tell him you love him (Sunday), finally, cast out a line and reel in a whopper (Monday). Have a happy Father’s Day weekend!
However you approach your weekend, make it a memorable time and don’t forget to wrap up in your Cariloha bamboo-soft clothing, sheets or towels every day.
