Cariloha Friday! … couldn’t have come any sooner. If you didn’t get a chance to head outdoors and plant a tree or some green plant or shrubbery last weekend on Earth Day, then you’ve got another shot this weekend, as it’s Arbor Day – the day and weekend for planting trees! To put you in the proper tree-planting mood, pop in the DVD of It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown, which also features It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brown, and then get outside to plant a tree.
As you begin to test the weekend waters, dress for success, Cariloha style, for an tree-friendly weekend ahead.
Let’s get started. Plant a tree and head to the playground or read a good story to your children (today), then, since you were already reading stories, try out some poetry reading (tomorrow), next be extra grateful for your zippers (Sunday), finally eat some oatmeal cookies and raisins while playing with your Mr. Potato Head (Monday). Happy tree planting!
However you approach your weekend, make it a memorable time and don’t forget to wrap up in your Cariloha bamboo-soft clothing, sheets or towels every day.
