Cariloha Friday! on an Olympics Opening Ceremony weekend! Hooray! These weekends are golden weekends for many of us, when excitement and anticipation covers the planet, and memories of Olympics past fill our minds. Watching the human spirit rise above and conquer unforeseen challenges, on a global stage, is inspiring and uplifting. This day, July 27, is also a momentous day for me personally, as my second child has his first birthday. Happy Birthday! Who knows, maybe he’ll carry the spirit of the Olympic games with him throughout his life, though easily dismissed as mere whimsy.
As you begin to test the weekend waters, be sure to get your Cariloha style on, letting it take you to an energized sports grill or big screen TV with nonstop Olympics coverage. Be sure to enjoy the games with friends and family.

Tune into the Olympics Opening Ceremony and take your houseplants for a walk (today), then, bite into a juicy hamburger and drizzle your favorite dessert with melted milk chocolate (tomorrow), next, have an Italian lasagna dinner and find your favorite shade of lipstick (Sunday), finally, tickle your taste buds with a slice of cheesecake and surprise your father-in-law with a hug (Monday).
