Beautiful, sugary-sand Caribbean island, Harvest Caye, off the coast of Belize is now the home of a new Cariloha store.
Harvest Caye is Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island cruise ship port, which includes a 75-acre island resort featuring an expansive pool with a swim-up bar, salt-water lagoon for water sports, exclusive 7-acre beach, exciting shopping village, and shore excursions ranging from zip lining across the island to snorkeling the world’s second largest barrier reef.
The store is located next door to sister brand, Del Sol, and is owned and operated by Nidia Dominguez and her daughter, Addy Cawich, who was Cariloha’s former Belize City store manager. They’ve put together an excellent team to run their store on this first private-port development by NCL among their various other private islands (see video below).
The Cariloha store staff is made up of energetic local employees who are anxious to welcome customers to the Bamboo Nation and to introduce them to Cariloha’s luxuriously soft clothing, bedding, and bath goods made of eco-friendly viscose from bamboo.
Cariloha is positioned as one of Harvest Caye’s major anchor stores within this very exclusive shopping destination. We expect big things from our operation there, and we’re looking forward to greeting tens of thousands of cruise ship guests annually – and maybe a zipline or two across the island wearing one of our custom bamboo T-shirts.
Many thanks to Del Sol’s New Store Opening Team for their hard work throughout this long-awaited store build-out.
Very special thanks to Cariloha Store Designers, Adam Stevenson and Everett Chambers, for their hard work and expertise on-site. Many days were spent building out this store, and they’ve turned the retail space into a beautiful shopping experience. Also, a big thanks to Cariloha Regional Sales Director, Justin Moore, for working with Addy and Nidia throughout the entire store-opening process to make this store a reality. Welcome to the Cariloha Family!
