Hi everyone, Lisa here with a great review and giveaway from Cariloha Bamboo! You may remember we gave away a bath robe and towels from them earlier this month in our Home Sweet Home event. Well, they also sent me a couple of other great products and wanted to do another giveaway! They sent me a bamboo purse and a bamboo bracelet.
The bamboo bracelet is really neat and is made from a stalk of bamboo. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t fit over my large hands, but my mom was able to get it on. I am planning to give it to one of my friends who is really petite. It seems to be glazed with some kind of clear coating, so no worries about messing this bracelet up!
The purse is my favorite product from Cariloha Bamboo. I have never seen bamboo worked in this fashion before — it looks like a leather purse but is so much softer! I did not have any nice purses before getting this one. I got rid of the one nice purse I had just because I had had it for about 10 years, and I was tired of it. All my other purses are very casual or have a goth look to them.
This bamboo purse looks nice enough to use when you go somewhere dressy, but it can also be used as a casual purse. It has two large middle pockets, one of which has small pockets inside, and one small outside pocket. This purse is fairly small, but I fit quite a bit in it, even a diaper and wipes when I need to (though those are a tight fit!). It has a cute little strap/buckle that goes from one side, through the handles, and snaps closed on the other side. It included a shoulder strap and a storage bag. I don’t use the shoulder strap though because I think this purse is just too cute as a small hand bag.
