My mom’s room was pretty much decorated how she wanted it, so we didn’t do much of anything in there. However, I wanted to line up something for her, so I requested some Bamboo Sheets from Cariloha Bamboo. Mom already had white sheets on her bed, so I chose the white Bamboo Bed Sheet Set in queen size. It includes a fitted sheet, top sheet, and two pillow cases.
My mom couldn’t believe how soft these sheets are! Bamboo is one of my favorite fabrics for bedding, towels, and clothing because it is so soft. They are twice as soft as cotton! One nice thing that many people don’t know is that bamboo wicks moisture away as well. So if you are usually hot or sweat during the night, bamboo sheets are great to have. They are also hypo-allergenic. I would love some for my own bed, but I haven’t been able to find any in darker colors to match my room.
I love that they are eco-friendly, too. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable resources on the planet and can be used for so many things. With the “green movement” that has come about over the past few years, more people are choosing bamboo, whether it is clothes, bedding, towels, cloth diapers, or wood products, and this is great because bamboo grows and spreads so fast – much faster than trees!
