When product-placement opportunities roll around for Cariloha’s bamboo clothing, bedding and bath goods, we’ve got a few covert ideas up our bamboo sleeves for all you Hollywood movie executives and Indi filmmakers alike.
Plain, solid-color T-shirts, without the appearance of any branding or tagging, always work well in movies. Cariloha bamboo shirts make the perfect fit – both for actors looking to stay cool, and directors not wanting to muddy up the screen with a bunch of obviously placed branded images.
How many movies have you seen with a bedroom scene? Too many to count? Yeah, every scene needs sheets and pillowcases. Why not us bamboo sheets? They look and feel so good that actors won’t mind how many takes it takes to get the perfect shot. Shooting in hot climates won’t seem too much of a bother either, as the bamboo sheets keep you 3 degrees cooler than regular-old cotton sheets.
The towel scene is a movie mainstay. Yet, it would look and feel so much better with a bamboo towel wrapped around that chiseled Hollywood bodice. Maybe Cariloha towels or our soon-to-be-introduced bathrobes could add something softer, greener, for the next big movie blockbuster.
Although it would be nice, and it would help increase product sales, this post isn’t meant to solicit some shameless, product placement in the next big movie. It’s just presenting some wandering ideas that maybe haven’t been explored before. If it were a shameless plug, then we’d plaster our logos all over the bamboo goods and pitch them that way.
Bamboo is for everyone to enjoy. The more awareness it and we can generate the better – having it show up on the red-carpet premier of a movie couldn’t hurt either.
What do you think? Would you like to see bamboo sheets cool down or heat up the next big movie love scene?
