Cariloha Friday! And a great weekend to remember and take care of the beauties and wonders of this earth, as it’s Earth Day on Sunday. This weekend also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Boston, Massachusetts’ Fenway Ballpark, where the Red Sox play. It’s America’s oldest, most beloved baseball park. I personally have soft spot for Fenway, as my wife was born and raised in Massachusetts. Thankfully, one of the little league baseball teams that I played on was the Red Sox, not the Yankees. Otherwise, my marriage may never have happened. Go Sox!
As you begin to test the weekend waters, remember to dress for success, Cariloha style, for an earth-friendly weekend ahead.
Let’s get started. Go cuckoo for the Red Sox at a game or on TV and remember those kindred dead who lost their lives during World War II(today), then pop in some old episodes of Sesame Street in honor of Rosita’s birthday(tomorrow), next celebrate Earth Day with a few nifty ideas from Cariloha (Sunday), finally watch a favorite Shirley Temple film and read some sonnets or passages from Shakespeare (Monday). Have a healthy and happy Earth Day weekend!
