Cariloha parent company, PW Companies, was recognized this month as Best Company to Work For by Utah Business Magazine.
The evaluation for the Best Companies to Work For was based upon feedback from a private survey completed by PW Companies’ employees themselves. We had great responses to the survey, and we’re honored to have been selected for this company recognition, particularly as the judges were largely our amazing employees!
There was tremendous participation this year and the competition was strong. PW Companies was classified as a Medium company size and 74 of PW Companies’ employees took the on-line survey.
100 points were possible in each survey category. Employers filled out the Corporate Profile and employees provided the input for the scoring in all other categories. The overall score is a weight of 25% of the Corporate Profile and 75% of the Employee Survey score.

How do we determine the Best Companies to Work For?
Any company with a Utah presence is encouraged to participate in the Best Companies to Work For program. The process involves two surveys: one for a company’s HR/corporate department to complete and the other for the company’s employees to complete. The surveys ask questions about benefits and compensation, growth opportunities, company culture, management, etc. Once the surveys have been completed, the responses are scored based on a point system and the highest-ranking organizations are deemed the Best Companies to Work For.
