Cariloha Bamboo Blankets & Towels
By Pawsitive Living
We are all creatures of comfort. I loved soft, snugly and cozy things when I was a child and that has not changed as an adult. When kids are under the weather, the first thing they want to do is snuggle up with their favorite stuffed animal and a warm cushy blanket. Some of the blankets on the market are stiff and slightly abrasive to the skin because of the synthetic products they are made from. I personally want quality blankets in my home, so I look to Cariloha.
Cariloha carries an abundance of eco-friendly bamboo products for the home and the family. Bamboo is hypoallergenic so it’s wonderful for people with allergies or certain sensitivities. They have a simply divine bamboo blanket that we treasure. Their blanket is beyond plush and softness; you just want to sink into it. With the fall weather coming upon us, I like to have several blankets draped on the couch and chair, so we can get snuggled down when watching the television or reading a book. The Cariloha Bamboo Blanket is a perfect fit, and it’s just the right size.
Here’s a list of its attributes:
• Dimensions: 50″ x 70″
• Ribbon: Tone-on-Tone satin ribbon ties each blanket in square.
• Made from 50% Bamboo, 50% Polyester
• Machine wash cold, tumble dry low
• Quilt batting added to the throw’s interior core for a luxurious weight
I love the super soft feel and the warmth this blanket offers. It’s uber comfy and comes with a satin edge trim. I have umpteen little kids over at any one time and they love to play, eat, make lots of noise and, yes, even snuggle. They adore this blanket and have had many naps nestled in it since its arrival. It washes really nicely in cold water, and I tumble dry it for only two or three minutes and then hang it to air dry. It turns out lovely every time.
I’m the same way with my towels. I like super soft towels that have a plush feel, and Cariloha has towels that check off all my wants. They are luxuriously soft, and I would call them spa quality. They are made from a unique blend of rayon from renewable bamboo and cotton.
I don’t know if it’s just me but towels don’t seem to last very long, at least in my household. The inferior thread and fibers they are made from just don’t hold up under normal wear and tear. I’ve used these towels for about a month, and they still look like new. They’re a lot thicker than all of the towels I have, so I’m sure they are going to last a lot longer as well.
I thought it’s noteworthy to mention that they are snag resistant. I don’t know how many towels I snagged on my ring during my life time. Oodles! I end up cutting off the long strands, and it seems to weaken the weave.
So far these towels and the blanket have lived up to their word and not snagged. They carry individual towels or fabulous sets in various colors. What perfect gifts these items would make, and I think they are going on my Xmas gift list.
