Cariloha Bamboo Sheets Review
By Powered by Mom
Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is largely considered a woody plant; however, it’s really a true grass. It is found in many parts of the world but is primarily grown in East Asia and South East Asia, where it’s used for everything from building materials to food sources! Bamboo has a soft and silky feel and what many people might not know is that it also has antimicrobial qualities! Bamboo is one of the most sustainable and renewable resources on Earth! It’s is an extremely breathable material and Cariloha bamboo sheets are synonymous with cool, clean, soft and green.

I was lucky enough to receive these amazing sheets in white. They are without a doubt the softest sheets I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on. It’s hard to describe, they are super-soft, but it’s not as smooth as satin, that’s too slippery for me. These bamboo sheets are softer than satin, I think, breathable and just darn cozy. I love the fact that they keep me cool as well as more often than night I sweat at night and it doesn’t seem to matter if I’m using cotton, silk or other materials the sheets and blankets make me sweaty. On top of that, I admit I’m a bit weird that even in the summer when it’s hot I like a blanket of some kind on me and these sheets are perfect for that! I can have something to keep me cozy, but it’s not going to make me hot, they just feel so cool, soft and luxurious.
The sheets are extra deep fitted sheets, so they will fit mattresses up to 18″ deep, which is a big plus for my hubby as somehow on his side of the bed the fitted sheet always comes off on the corner. So far so good; with these ones they stay put. These sheets get a 5 out of 5 stars from Powered by Mom and hubby and my daughter, too, who is complaining now that her sheets aren’t as soft and cozy, so I may just have to order a twin set of these awesome sheets.
Cariloha also carries other wonderful bamboo-based products such as towels, clothing and other accessories.
I LOVE how Cariloha’s products all utilize bamboo. What an amazing renewable resource and hurray for Cariloha for being so green! Make sure to stop by and check out their site and social media channels below!
