Cariloha Luxury Bamboo Sheets & Towel Set

Did you know that Bamboo is actually a form of grass? This plant is found primarily in both Eastern, and Southeastern parts of Asia, and is used for everything from building supplies to a food source. Since it is 3 degrees cooler than cotton, super soft, clean, and it is considered a “green” plant, it is an ideal source to make luxurious items.
Before discovering the company Cariloha, I would have never believed that items like purses, sheets, and especially towels could be made from bamboo. I had no idea that bamboo is a highly sustainable fabric that boasts antibacterial, anti-fungal, and deodorizing properties.
I recently had the opportunity to sample, test, and use bamboo sheets, and towels from the company Cariloha. Their mission was to bring the Hawaiian, and Caribbean lifestyles to everyday consumers. Cariloha’s desire to turn ordinary bamboo into household essentials, apparel, and accessories was a huge success! Who wouldn’t want to sleep on cool, luxurious sheets, or wear light, airy clothing?
Cariloha sent me two of their fabulous items to review – a bamboo, queen sized sheet set, and a 3-piece bamboo towel set. I chose the sage colored sheets, and the green bath towel set. This was a review that I couldn’t wait to conduct. I initially had a hard time believing that bamboo could be so soft, but as soon as I felt my items I was a total believer!
I tried out the towel set first, and was pretty in love with the color, but the softness is what won me over. Cariloha’s 3 piece towel set came with a large full body towel, a hand towel, and wash cloth. My son was actually the first of us to use, and try out this set. From the smile on his face it appears he enjoyed being wrapped in this extra large towel.
Their Soflex towel material consists of 60% Turkish blended cotton, and 40% viscose bamboo fibers. The appearance of the towel was similar to that of any other towel, but it is the softness, and ability to wick away water that gives these towels an A+ in my book! After drying with the towel myself I was in heaven-no more scratchy towel that did not absorb much of the water from my freshly washed hair.
The sage colored, queen sized sheet set I received from Cariloha was equally wonderful. It is pretty hard to put into words just how amazing, and soft these sheets truly are. Cariloha’s sheet set came complete with 2 pillow cases, a fitted, and a loose sheet. The material was a bit wrinkled in my photo, but I assure you the wrinkles do disappear quickly after continued use.
Wow…oh wow are the first words that come to mind when I think about how divine these sheets are! I was using flannel, and microfiber before trying out these sheets, and I thought those were comfy. Well, my bamboo sheet set from Cariloha far exceeds any level of sheet comfort that I have ever experienced!
Our sheets felt better than silk, and softer than cashmere. I was a bit worried that they would be too cold for us in the winter months, but I was wrong! I slept barefoot, and in shorts to feel the awesome silky-soft feeling they provided. Most importantly, these sheets stood in place. Sometimes overly silky sheets come of the bed when tossing and turning. Cariloha’s bamboo sheets stayed perfectly tucked for us, and we have a pillow top mattress.
Overall, I would totally recommend anyone who wants to live the “resort lifestyle” at home to try Cariloha’s bamboo products. Sure, they are pricier than your average sheet or towel set, but I assure you they are anything but average! You will feel like you are being wisked away to a tropical island in the comfort of your own home with Cariloha products!
